WHAT TO DO IN SIAN KA'AN ?

Sian Ka'an is the perfect place for nature lovers and people who want to observe wildlife, wetlands, the Caribbean coast by boat or relax in a natural beauty of the fresh water canal and learn about the ecology of the area.

We offer an adventure of a lifetime that we aim to do in small groups of 12 people maximum in order to live a personalized experience and focus on the respect of the environment that is really important to us to transmit to our travelers.

For all ages over 5 years old, the reserve offers an epic experience by boat. These large stretches of white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea welcome you to discover the seabed of the second largest barrier reef in the world while snorkeling. It is also possible to enjoy this wonderful paradise by relaxing and swimming on the shoreline beaches.

Home to a great diversity of wildlife, Sian Ka'an is widely recognized for its aquatic animals or birds. Between mangroves and the Caribbean Sea you will see crocodiles, manatees, birds, fish, sea turtles, nurse sharks, octopus, corals... enough to amaze you for years.

For those interested in the Mayan culture, in the inland of the reserve you will find the archaeological site of Muyil connected to water channels that unlike the sea are essentially fresh water. These rivers have natural currents that eventually flow into the Caribbean and for this reason floating down this river is also a way to refresh yourself in the biosphere and enjoy a peaceful, pleasant environment surrounded by lush vegetation.

Different options are available for you to explore Sian Ka'an, by day, half day, or private tour.
